This place smells and is a dump! They don't accept credit cards or debit they have old alcohol and they're bathrooms are dirty! The bartenders are very rude and attitudes! Coral is by far so rude tried arguing with me! This place should be shut down

Little dive. The bartenders are great. If your not a local you can feel out of place pretty fast here. This is a great place if your looking for a real chill no stress bar.

I ended up here with my husband and sister-in-law on Christmas Eve after my husband's family deemed us all inappropriate at dinner...HAH!!! They strongly advised us not to go to the Williams Street Tap so that is EXACTLY where we went!!! This is a little dive bar in Crystal Lake...nothing fancy by any means. The staff is hilarious and extremely friendly. I don't recall any of their names, but they were all very entertaining...from the clepto young bartender who kept trying to steal my purse to the older bartender who had knicknames for everyone who entered (mine being Portia) to the back-bending butcher knife-wielding blonde!!! We heard stories about the fights that occur here and after viewing some of the patrons...yes...I am sure those stories are quite true. However, I think this is a fun little bar and would be inclined to return if I am ever back in Crystal Lake...I will just sit close to the door for a quick escape!!!

"The Tap" as it is affectionately referred to, is the epitome of a "townie, dive-bar". Sad guys drowning their sorrows or avoiding their lives during the week - hipsters and trash during the weekends.

Small little dumpy bar in downtown Crystal lake. They have since remodeled so it is somewhat more respectable. An older hard drinking crowd on the night I went.
